Euromex NexiusZoom Stereo microscope
The microscopes from the Euromex NexiusZoom series are ideal for professional users in industry, research and education. This is due to excellent mechanical and optical properties and the good price-quality ratio. This Binocular NexiusZoom Stereomicroscope is equipped with a double arm swivel stand made of sturdy metal.
Infinitely adjustable zoom lens
This binocular stereomicroscope has a zoom function: with the 0.67x to 4.5x zoom lens, together with the WF 10x / 22 eyepieces, magnifications of between 6.7x and 45x are possible. The field of view is at least 4.9 millimeters and no more than 33 millimeters. At 6.7x magnification the field of view is 33 millimeters, at 45x magnification 4.9 millimeters. Because the lens is parfocal, the image stays sharp when you adjust the magnification. The working distance for this microscope is 110 millimeters.
Fully swivel head
The head of the Euromex NexiusZoom Bino is equipped with two wide-angle (Wide Field) eyepieces with 10x magnification and field number 22. The tube is arranged at an angle of 45 degrees. The eye distance between the two eyepieces is adjustable, from 54 to 75 millimeters. The head is fully rotatable (360 degrees). So it is possible to work very flexibly. The eyepieces are provided with diopter correction. All optical parts of this microscope have undergone anti-fungal treatment.
Object plate with clamps
The object plate of this microscope has two clamps. This allows you to secure the object to be studied, and then proceed to observation. Focusing is simple, with the coarse control. The lighting is not included with this Euromex NexiusZoom Bino. This product has no less than ten years warranty.
Double arm tripod
The metal double arm tripod of this microscope is ball bearing mounted and therefore easy and smooth to operate. Just like the one-armed tripod, the double-arm tripod can be moved from left to right. In contrast to the single-arm tripod, the double-arm tripod can also be moved from top to bottom. This gives even more possibilities. In addition to a double arm swivel stand, the Euromex NexiusZoom Bino is also available with an ankle arm swivel stand , rack & pinion tripod and pillar tripod . Of all these microscopes there is also a trinocular variant.
Stereo microscope: microscopy with a lot of depth
A stereomicroscope distinguishes itself from, among other things, a biological microscope through the way of light. In a stereomicroscope, the light is usually shone on the object (with this microscope both on and below the object), while with a biological microscope the light shines through the object. A stereomicroscope should not be confused with a biological microscope that has two tubes (which you can see through with two eyes). A stereomicroscope always uses two eyepieces, but in contrast to a binocular biological microscope, a stereomicroscope has two separate optical light paths (with of course two objectives and two eyepieces). These ensure that the image in the left eyepiece deviates slightly from the image in the right eyepiece. This results in a three-dimensional image of the object being viewed.
