Small chalice
Striking on this glass is the very fine blown chalice with a beautiful thin edge. This combined with the shape of the calyx ensures that the aroma and bouquet of the wine are perfectly transferred. The calyx is smaller and less voluminous than a chalice of a red wine glass. The opening of the calyx is narrow and tapered. As a result, the aromas do not evaporate so quickly and the balance between the sweet fruit and the acids remains balanced.

Drawn stem
All glasses of the Authentis series have a 'pulled handle'. This means that the stem is pulled out of the calyx during the making of the glass. The stem and the chalice of the glass then consist of one whole, making the glass look even tighter.
